Consensus Orthopedics raises $8M to expand portfolio

Consensus Orthopedics raised $8 million from Breakwater Investment Funds, according to a MedCity News report.

The company's President and CEO Colleen Gray said the funds will be used as growth capital. Consensus Orthopedics, formed in 1992, focuses on developing and commercializing total joint implants and instrumentation. The company's products have been implanted in more than 25,000 knees and 15,000 hips worldwide, according to the report.
