Meeker, Colo.-based Colorado Advanced Orthopedics, Sports Medicine and Spine added Alejandro Miranda, MD, to its staff of orthopedic surgeons.
Dr. Miranda specializes in sports medicine and foot and ankle surgery, including cartilage restoration, Achilles tendon repair, ankle replacement surgeries, upper and lower extremity fractures, and sporting injuries for the foot, ankle and knee, according to a March 18 news release.
Prior to joining CAO, Dr. Miranda served as a surgeon at Steamboat Orthopaedic & Spine Institute in Steamboat Springs, Colo.
Dr. Miranda is also a member of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard team medical staff, the release said.
