The Steadman Clinic names Steve Wyrsch vice president of operations — 4 insights

Vail, Colo.-based The Steadman Clinic appointed Steve Wyrsch its vice president of operations.

Here's what you should know:

 

1. Mr. Wyrsch brings more than 14 years of healthcare leadership to the position.

 

2. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy with 20 years of service. In the Navy, Mr. Wyrsch served on the staff of the Navy Surgeon General and the Assistant Secretary of Defense. He also served on the personal staff of Sen. Joseph Lieberman, D-Conn., in 2001.

 

3. Mr. Wyrsch most recently was Dover, N.H.-based Wentworth-Douglass Hospital's assistant vice president of musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and integrative services.

 

4. Mr. Wyrsch said in a release, "It is a true honor to have been selected to serve in this position in Vail. I was very familiar with Steadman because of the reputation and the strong work that is done here, as most of the organizations in which I have worked since retiring had associations with or employed orthopaedic practices."
