The Commonwealth Fund found the United States falls low on the list for healthcare among developed nations, The Hill reports.

1. The Commonwealth Fund studied the following metrics in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States:
• Care
• Access
• Administrative efficiency
• Equity
• Outcomes
2. Of the 11 nations, the United States spends the most money on healthcare.
3. Despite the high price tag, the United States performed poorly in the areas of access, equity and outcomes.
4. Specifically, 44 percent of low-income Americans reported they faced obstacles to access.
5. The study ranked the United States as the nation with the worst healthcare system.
