Here are 14 orthopedic surgeons in the news over this past week.

Tennessee Medical Association honored Barret "Buddy" F. Rosen, MD, with one of three 2017 Outstanding Physician Awards. Dr. Rosen practices with Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance in Nashville.

 

John McElroy, MD, joined the Orthopedic Associates of Flower Mound (Texas) medical staff.

 

Monroe County Medical Society elected hand surgeon Peter Rochetti, MD, president. Dr. Rcnchetti practices at Hand Surgery Associates of Rochester (N.Y.).

 

Joel Metta, MD, joined The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo.

 

The American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society named Amgad Haleem, MD, and Kevin Martin, MD, traveling fellows for 2017.

 

Rutland Regional Medical Center honored Deborah A. Henley, MD, with the 2017 Humanitarian of the Year award.
