Tyler, Texas-based Texas Spine and Joint Hospital selected Sphere 3D Corp.'s HVE technology to handle its IT issues within the facility's own data centers.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. The HVE technology will upgrade the Texas Spine and Joint Hospital's server, storage and end-user environments through Tyler, Texas-based Cynergy Technology.

 

2. Increasing numbers of healthcare organizations seek simple, efficient solutions to three big IT challenges:

  • Massive amounts of data which increase by the day
  • Federal requirements with patients' private medical information
  • Complex procedures for backing up data and recovering data in disaster or emergency situations
