According to a Kaiser Family Foundation Health Tracking Poll conducted Dec. 13 to 19, 2016, Americans are split on whether they have confidence in President-elect Donald Trump's ability to deliver better healthcare at a lower cost.
The survey found Americans are:
1. Not at all confident: 32 percent
2. Not too confident: 19 percent
3. Somewhat confident: 29 percent
4. Very confident: 19 percent
5. Don't know/refused: 1 percent
The poll also showed 49 percent of respondents feel lawmakers should vote to repeal the ACA, but 29 percent of those respondents wanted to wait until the details of the replacement plan were announced before holding the vote to repeal the law.
