Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center in Connecticut opens orthopedic urgent care: 5 key notes

Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center in Westport, Conn., opened a new orthopedic urgent care facility, according to a Wilton Daily Voice report.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. The new orthopedic urgent care center opened on Jan. 10 and includes regular visits and after-hour walk-in care for emergencies.

 

2. The urgent care services are useful for athletes who incur injuries outside of the regular business hours; the urgent care cite is open every weekday from 1pm to 8pm with the eventual goal of opening hours on the weekends.

 

3. The new facility is 2,400 square feet and includes six exam rooms. The facility also has X-ray capabilities onsite.

 

4. All orthopedic specialties offered at OSM will be available at the urgent care, including spine, pain management and sports medicine.

 

5. The urgent care is available to any patient, from pediatric to geriatric care.
