St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings, Mont., is now offering a new on-demand healthcare app for patients, according to the Missoulian.
Here are five highlights:
1. Doctor on Demand is a video-appointment app that addresses non-urgent medical problems.
2. The app can be used on a computer, tablet or smartphone.
3. It’s a national service with physicians licensed to now serve patients in 14 states after it partners with St. Vincent Healthcare parent organization SCL Health to bring the app to its facilities in Montana and Colorado.
4. The app is designed to help people with non-emergency medical issues, such as allergies, rashes, bumps, bruises, coughs and other ailments.
5. The program is available 24 hours a day and each visit costs a flat fee of $40.
