United Health Services opening orthopedic center on Vestal Parkway — 5 notes

A comprehensive orthopedic center will open on Vestal Parkway in New York, according to Press & Sun-Bulletin.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. The 68,000-square-foot facility is estimated to cost $30 million.

 

2. The orthopedic center will provide medical programs in orthopedics, podiatry, chiropractic, rheumatology and physical therapy.

 

3. The center additionally will house the area's largest sports medicine practice in the area.

 

4. X-ray services will be provided at the facility with laboratory and pharmacy services available next door at the current United Health Services' facility.

 

5. The center is expected to open in 2016.
