Burnout rates are lowest in the youngest and oldest physician age groups, according to the Medscape Physician Lifestyle Report 2015.

Here are physician burn-out rates for different age groups:

•    35 years or under — 44 percent
•    36 to 45 years — 51 percent
•    46 to 55 years — 53 percent
•    56 to 65 years — 46 percent
•    66 years or above — 22 percent
