Around 41 percent of physicians wish they could change workplaces, according to Physicians Practice's 2014 Great American Physician Survey.
The survey includes responses from 1,311 physicians.
When asked why they would prefer to work elsewhere, respondents reported the following:
• To get away from the unhealthy culture of my current workplace — 31.6 percent
• To get more time for my personal life — 24.2 percent
• To make more money — 13.1 percent
• To live in a different geographic area — 9.9 percent
• To advance my career or partnership prospects — 9.7 percent
