The Atlanta-based Northside Hospital network has added a spine and pain specialty practice, now called Northside Interventional Pain and Spine Care.
Physicians at the new Northside Interventional Pain and Spine Care include pain management specialists and anesthesiologists. The group has four locations in Atlanta, Canton, Cumming and Lawrenceville, Ga.
Additionally, the practice is expanding orthopedic and sports medicine care at its new Northside Medical Snellville (Ga.), according to an Oct. 19 press release.
Five orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialists from Northside Hospital Orthopedic Institute – Sports Medicine will treat patients at the new location beginning Oct. 23.
New treating physicians include Todd Bonvallet, MD; Saif Zaman, MD; Elan Golan, MD; William Moeller, MD; and Robert Wood, MD.
Additionally, the system has announced the addition of board-certified neurosurgeon R. Tushar Jha, MD, who will treat patients at Southeastern Neurosurgical Specialists in Sandy Springs, Ga.
