Here are five specialties with the lowest percentage of active female physicians, in 2010:
• Vascular Surgery — 7.8 percent
• Neurological Surgery — 6.5 percent
• Urology — 5.8 percent
• Thoracic Surgery — 4.6 percent
• Orthopedic Surgery — 4 percent
