Kristopher Avant, DO, has joined the medical staff at Bone and Joint Hospital at St. Anthony in Oklahoma City, according to the Edmond Sun. 
Dr. Avant is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery and general orthopedics. He also has a special clinical interest in wrist and elbow reconstruction and hand trauma. He practices at Southwest Orthopaedic and Reconstructive Specialists, as well.
Dr. Avant received his medical degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He served a residency at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City and his fellowship at Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa.
