EOS imaging introduced a new version of its spineEOS, which now incorporates biomechanical patient data into surgery simulation and planning.

Here are five insights:

1. SpineEOS is a part of the company's online 3-D planning software for spine surgery based on EOS stereo radiographic 2-D and 3-D imaging.

2. The software's biomechanical algorithms take into account the specific flexibility of the patient's spinal, further improving the spineEOS treatment simulation and planning to accurately reflect the patient's post surgical reaction.

3. EOS imaging believes spineEOS is especially beneficial when treating patients with complex spinal disorders.

4. The software received approval in Europe and has been submitted to the FDA for approval. EOS imaging will introduce the new spineEOS software at the Scoliosis Research Society 52nd annual meeting.

5. EOS imaging designs and develops medical imaging systems dedicated to osteoarticular pathologies and orthopedics.
