SeaSpine pushes limited commercial launch of Skipjack: 5 highlights Featured

SeaSpine reported the limited commercial launch of its Skipjack Expandable Interbody System.

Here are five highlights:

 

1. Surgeons have completed the initial cases with the Skipjack Expandable Interbody System.

 

2. The Skipjack features patented technology acquired from the NLT Spine in 2016.

 

3. The system is intended to offer continuous in-situ expansion in height or lordosis for a personalized fit.

 

4. The in-situ expansion is designed to limit tissue disruption and decrease endplate damage.

 

5. From a posterior approach, the Skipjack offers up to 20 degrees of lordotic correction.
