Richmond, Va.-based Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center is among the first regional hospitals to leverage Stryker's Mako System.

1. The hospital's surgeons are using the robotic system for partial knee and total hip replacements.
2. The Mako System creates a virtual hip or knee 3-D model, guiding the surgeon while performing minimally invasive joint replacement surgery.
3. Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center will begin offering total knee replacement procedures with the technology in the fall.
