NuVasive is launching research, education and awareness initiatives to support its growing spinal deformity portfolio.
Here are six notes:
1. In 2015, the company introduced its Integrated Global Alignment platform and RELINE posterior fixation system, strengthening its foothold in the deformity market.
2. With its MAGEC system, NuVasive expanded its presence in the early onset scoliosis market. The company also runs a podcast, MAGEC Matters, featuring surgeon experts on pediatric deformity.
3. The company launched its 'Embracing the Journey Together' program recently, which features pediatric spinal deformity research, education and spinal deformity event support.
4. NuVasive funds research and patient initiatives, like the Harms Study Group and Setting Scoliosis Straight Foundation.
5. The company serves as the exclusive sponsor of the Power Over Scoliosis event, and contributes funding to the Children's Spine Study Group and the Growing Spine Study Group.
6. NuVasive served as a sponsor of EPOSNA 2017 in Barcelona, Spain, and will serve as the leading sponsor of the Scoliosis Research Society's International Meeting on Advanced Spine Techniques in July.
