InVivo announces 14th patient enrollee in Inspire study — 5 details

Cambridge, Mass.-based InVivo Therapeutics announced the newest patient enrollment in its Inspire study took place at the Carolinas Medical Center.

Here are five things to know:



1. Charlotte, N.C.-based Carolina Neurosurgery and Spine Associates surgeons Domagoj Coric, MD, and Byron Branch, MD, performed the procedure.

 

2. The operation took place 42 hours after the injury occurred.

 

3. Dr. Coric and William Bockenek, MD, of Charlotte, N.C.-based Carolinas Rehabilitation are co-principal investigators at the Charlotte, N.C.-based Carolinas Medical Center site.

 

4. The patient is the 14th to be implanted with the Neuro-Spinal Scaffold.

 

5. InVivo has announced three enrollments since March 5, 2017.
