Mizuho OSI opens 4th global training center — 5 details

Union City, Calif.-based Mizuho OSI announced the upcoming opening of the Center Of Excellence, its newest customer and employee training center.

Here are five details:

 

1. The Center of Excellence includes a 4,685-square-foot modular training facility and VIP conference room.

 

2. A product showcase area housing the company's portfolio of specialty surgical tables, general surgical tables, pressure management solutions and Mizuho OSI's newly-acquired Trilux Medical products is expected to open in late spring.

 

3. Plans for a mock operating room are being developed and are expected to open in the fall to showcase a complete operating room solution with advanced technology and design. A museum to showcase the company's near-40 year history is expected to open around the same time.

 

4. Trilux Medical products offer customers the only operating room light with reLED technology combined with intelligent operating room integrated solutions.

 

5. Currently, Mizuho has three training centers in Japan, Germany and Jordan. Company President Steve Lamb said, "Bringing a fourth training center online is a key component of Mizuho’s strategy to ensure all of our customers and employees can experience an optimal learning environment with hands-on access to our equipment."
