Marietta, Ga.-based Amendia named Gary Maingot the new executive vice president of operations.

Here are four key points:

 

1. Mr. Maingot has served in the medical device industry for 25 years, with roles related to quality, engineering, operations and supply chain.

 

2. He previously worked at New Brunswick, N.J.-based Johnson & Johnson; Dublin, Ireland-based Medtronic; Marlborough, Mass.-based Boston Scientific; and Warsaw, Ind.-based Zimmer Biomet.

 

3. Mr. Maingot earned a master of science degree in industrial engineering from University of South Florida in Tampa.

 

4. He received his master of business administration degree from the F.W. Olin School of Business at Babson College in Wellesley, Mass.
