Paris, France-based EOS Imaging partnered with Konyang University Hospital on Nov. 28, 2016.
Here's what you should know.
1. The hospital serves 7 million outpatients and 25 million inpatients in an average year.
2. EOS is providing the hospital with equipment to perform a 3D analysis of the spine for patients suffering from deformities and degenerative spine conditions.
The clinic will also use EOS images and 3D torsion and alignment measures to improve patient outcomes.
3. Chief of the Spine Centre and Orthopedics Department Prof. Kim Sang Beom said the department is happy to implement the new technologies and expand the department's services to better serve its patient-base.
CEO of EOS Imaging Marie Meynadier said EOS is looking forward to helping Korean hospitals and providing them with low dose 2D/3D imaging technology.
