Misonix partners with SonoSpine to implement next generation of ultrasonic technology: 3 thoughts

Spinal Tech

Misonix recently entered into an exclusive partnership with SonoSpine to develop the next generation of ultrasonic technology, according to a release.

Here are three things to know:

1. The two companies are both committed to providing a higher quality healthcare experience through the use of technology. By partnering they believe they will be able to advance the development of this technology, Founder and Surgeon-In-Chief of SonoSpine Dilantha Ellegala, MD, said.

2. By sharing clients between the two companies, Misonix technological developments will provide critical metrics for SonoSpine to use as it attempts to improve patient care. Additionally, by having access to SonoSpine's clinics, Misonix can engineer technology from the perspective of a patient in an operating suite.

3. The new partners have plans to widen the framework of ultrasonic therapy, jointly develop new medical technology and evaluate the technology in clinics through the use of a shared ultrasonic training facility.
