San Francisco-based PONTiS Orthopaedics launched its PONTiS Achilles System.
Here are four highlights:
1. The Achilles System is PONTiS' first foray into the foot and ankle surgery and sports medicine market.
2. Previously, PONTiS launched products for hand surgeons performing tendon repair.
3. PONTiS developed the PONTiS Surgical Instrument and Implant System for tendon repair and re-connection in the hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, knee, foot and ankle.
4. The FDA cleared PONTIS’s Biceps tendon re-attachment at the elbow and shoulder and Patella tendon repair at the knee.
