RTI Surgical launches anterior cervical fixation system: 5 key notes

RTI Surgical launched the Unison-C System, an anterior cervical fixation system.

Here are five key notes:

 

1. The limited launch of the device expand RTI Surgical's hardware portfolio in the growing standalone interbody market.

 

2. The device is indicated for standalone anterior cervical interbody fusion for the treatment of degenerative disc disease at a single level of the spine from C2 to T1.

 

3. The device is made of PEEK-OPTIMA from Invibio Biomaterial Solutions.

 

4. The device is designed to be used with autograft and/or allograft.

 

5. The first human implantation of the Unison-C System took place during an ACDF procedure last week.
