Here are four things to know:
1. The system is used in conjunction with the Baylis Pain Management Generator-TD, bringing the radiofrequency energy to the ablation area.
2. The probes are cooled via a tube kit connected to a pump unit.
3. The system has bipolar probes available in three lengths which will fit in various cannula sizes.
4. Montreal, Canada-based Baylis Medical developed the system, and sold the technology rights to Dublin, Ireland-based Medtronic.
