San Jose, Calif.-based SI-BONE, a sacroiliac joint medical device company, expanded its presence in Europe with the creation of SI-BONE UK, to be based in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, United Kingdom.
Here are five things to know:
1. SI-BONE added Richard Moss to its executive team as the general manger in the United Kingdom and Ireland. He will head operations of SI-BONE UK, which is the third office location in Europe.
2. With more than 20 years of medical device sales experience, Mr. Moss previously worked at Aurora Spine.
3. Silvio Tarantino joins the company as finance director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He will work in Gallarate, Italy.
4. Mr. Tarantino has held several financial and general management positions at companies like Smith & Nephew.
5. "We are extremely excited to have both Richard and Silvio join our EMEA team and I look forward to working with both of them to further expand our presence in the UK and strengthen our overall business across Europe and the Middle East," said Andrea Mercanti, vice president of EMEA at SI-BONE.
