DeGen Medical launched Hyper-C Anterior Cervical Plate System.
Here are four key notes:
1. The system is an anterior intervertebral fixation device designed to help stabilize the cervical spine.
2. The procedure was performed by Daniel Williams, MD, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, N.C.
3. The system features plates in levels 1 thru 5 in addition to multiple lengths and bone screws in 4 mm, 4.25 mm and 4.6 mm diameters from 10 to 20 mm in length.
4. DeGen Medical has received FDA clearance for the system in September 2015.
