Daniel Chon, president and co-founder of AccelSPINE, was named a finalist for D CEO's Excellence in Healthcare Awards.

1. He has more than a decade of experience in medical and healthcare fields after a variety of leadership roles in start-up ventures.
2. Mr. Chon supports causes including the Spina Bifida Association, Alzheimer's Association and Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
3. In addition to his work with AccelSPINE, Mr. Chon travels abroad on medical mission trips to provide medical supplies and training.
4. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin and completed an MBA at The University of Texas at Dallas.
