Spinal Tech

Headquartered in Parsippany, N.J., Precision Spine will showcase its portfolio of cervical, thoracolumbar, interbody and anterior lumbar spine surgery products at the North American Spine Society Meeting in Chicago in October.

Here are five observations about the company's products:

1. The company's patent-pending Reform Modular Pedicle Screw System is the first modular system designed with a cobalt chrome tulip and a proximal tapered triple lead thread.

2. This design is intended to help with pull-out strength and efficient screw delivery.

3. The Reform HA Coated Pedicle Screws are also waiting on a patent, and have hydroxyapatite coating that is intended to increase the amount of fixation between the pedicle screw and bone.

4. Precision Spine will also exhibit its MD-Max ULIF System, Vault C Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion System, SureLOK PC Posterior Cervical System and Vault Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion System at the conference.

5. The company designs products that address patients' complex spinal pathologies.
