Xtant Medical received FDA clearance for the Aranax Cervical Plate.

1. The Aranax System is an anterior cervical fixation with an enhanced locking mechanism. It has low profile features, increased screw angulation and intuitive instrumentation.
2. The system is indicated for patients needing spinal fusion on one to four contiguous levels in the cervical spine. The system has an anterior approach.
3. Aranax's sterile packaging reduces facility processing costs for the hospital and can improve procedure planning.
4. The technology comes from Xtant Medical's wholly-owned subsidiary X-spine Systems.
5. The cervical plating procedures market exceeds $160 million in the United States. The Aranax system is on limited release in the fourth quarter of this year and will have a full launch in early 2016.
