Spinal Tech

Titan Spine entered into a distribution agreement with MBA for the Endoskeleton titanium implants line.

Here are five quick facts:

1. Under the new agreement, the Endoskeleton titanium implants will be available in six countries across Europe: Spain, Portugal, Andorra, Luxembourg, Belgium and the United Kingdom.

2. MBA is an international device making and distribution organization focusing on orthopedic and neurosurgery treatments.

3. Titan Spine opened an office in Valencia, Spain recently to support growth and adoption in Europe. The office supports sales, training and marketing initiatives across Europe in conjunction with the company's European headquarters in Laichingen, Germany.

4. Over the last few years, and particularly in the first half of this year, Titan has experienced sales growth. "By broadly expanding our line of titanium spinal implants to surgeons and patients in six additional countries across Europe, we have a greater opportunity to offer the benefits of our subtractive surface technology for surgeons and patients in Europe," said Titan Spine President Kevin Gemas.

5. The full line of Endoskeleton devices features Titan's proprietary implant surface technology with a unique combination of surface topographies designed for host-bone response and to actively participate in the fusion process.
