SI-BONE appointed two new board members.
The new board members are Karen Licitra and Keith Valentine.
Here are three things to know about Ms. Licitra:
1. She was most recently corporate vice president at Johnson & Johnson where she led worldwide government affairs and policy. She was responsible for the company's global government leader engagements at the multilateral, national and state levels.
2. She has experience establishing J&J's strategy and vision for an $8 billion global portfolio of healthcare companies and was named among Fortune's 50 Most Powerful Women in Business in 2012.
3. She previously served as J&J's worldwide chairman of global medical solutions group within the medical device and diagnostics segment.
Here are three things to know about Mr. Valentine:
4. Mr. Valentine is the president and CEO of SeaSpine, a spin-off of Integra LifeSciences' spine company. He previously served as the president and COO of NuVasive.
5. He also has experience in senior executive positions at ORATEC, which was acquired by Smith & Nephew, and Medtronic Sofamor Danek.
6. He has experience leading medical device companies focused on orthopedic and spine disorders.
