Aurora Spine gets CE Mark for TiNano implants: 5 key notes

Spinal Tech

Aurora Spine received a CE Mark for the full line of its TiNano sterile-packed titanium coated spinal fusion implants made of PEEK thermoplastic material.

Here are five quick notes on the technology:

1. The implant with TiNano is a unique titanium plasma spray coating on PEEK interbody implants.

2. The TiNano intervertebral implants were developed to support the entire spine, cervical and lumbar regions, to accommodate the company's ZIP Minimally Invasive Interspinous Fusion System portfolio.

3. The CE Mark covers configurations for anterior cervical, anterior lumbar, posterior lumbar, transforaminal lumbar and lateral lumbar interbody spaces.

4. Aurora Spine already launched the product successfully in the United States and is now taking the TiNano-coated fusion cage portfolio to all European markets.

5. The implant was designed with the postoperative imaging benefits of PEEK fusion implants in mind.
