1. The Revolution design combines the polyaxial screw system and plating system into a new implant with the ability to connect multiple bone screws while adjusting for angulation and distance between bone screws.
2. The system improves upon the thoraco-lumbar spinal fusion implant procedure by eliminating the complicated reusable non-sterile instrument trays and replacing them with one easy-to-use disposable instrument tray.
3. The system is designed to streamline the operating room processes with fewer instruments and trays as well as simplified inventory tracking and a reduced risk of infection.
4. Intelligent Implant Systems now has 11 issued patents in the United States with additional foreign patents issued.
5. The locking mechanism on the system is incorporated within the design to eliminate extra components and steps, including placing screws.
