Stryker's spine division launched Tempus, a new anterior cervical plating system.

Here are five quick facts:

• It has a secondary locking mechanism for visual and tactile confirmation
• There are large graft windows
• The system has a low 2.2mm profile design
• Tempus is available in one to five level plating options
• There are fixed and variable self-drilling and self-tapping screws

"The addition of Tempus will expand Stryker's presence in the growing secondary sub-segment of the $454M anterior cervical plating market and further strengthen our cervical product portfolio," said Brad Paddock, vice president and general manager, sales and marketing for Stryker Spine.
