Here are five things to know about the new executives:

He was responsible for the U.S. sales and marketing, research and development and biologics for the company. He has also served as chief marketing officer and general manager of spinal operations for Pioneer Surgical.

2. In his new role, Mr. McLeer will advise ChoiceSpine founders Rick Henson and Marty Altshuler as well as assist in strategic planning and business development.

3. Dr. Ainsworth has experience as vice president of research and development when Baxano acquired TranS1. He is the third employee from TranS1.

4. Last year, ChoiceSpine reported double-digit growth after introducing two new fusion systems and three line extensions. The company expects to grow 25 percent in 2015 after launching four new systems over the next few months.
