Blue Belt Technologies received the CE Mark for its STRIDE Unicondylar Knee System.
The system is designed to be implanted with Blue Belt's robotic-assisted technology — the Navio system. STRIDE is available for treatment of both medial and lateral unicompartmental knee replacement.
The system received FDA clearance in June 2014 and has been commercially available in the United States since October.
Blue Belt technologies saw significant growth in 2014 and reported a strong commercial performance. It sold 33 Navio Surgical Systems worldwide and there were more than 900 partial knee replacements performed with five implant partners using the STRIDE Unicondylar Knee System.
