3D Medical Concepts received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for its Vectrix External Fixation System, according to a Bonezone report.
The system is intended to treat a number of long and short bone fractures in adult and pediatric patients. The design is based off a ball collet pin clamp that allows for independent pin placement and features an optional lengthening transport component. It can be used in the temporary trauma and long-term limb reconstruction markets.
