Aurora Spine receives Canadian medical device license for ZIP fusion system

Aurora Spine received the Health Canada Medical Device License for its ZIP Interspinous Fusion System.

The fixation implant intended for spinal fusion, consists of a ONE-STEP locking mechanism, articulating spikes and various sizes to accommodate variations in patient anatomy. Aurora Spine received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the system in November 2013.
