The Patent Power Scorecard 2014 ranked patient-specific orthopedic device company ConforMIS top among medical equipment and instrument companies.
The patent strength is rated annually in the IEEE Spectrum, a publication of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. ConforMIS is the only company to market a fully customized knee implant for total knee replacements using a proprietary production process and technology platform that creates an implant based on a CT scan of each patient's knee.
The company has patient-specific implants for partial and total knee replacement.
