EOS Imaging announced that its system is now being used at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, a top-ranked U.S. hospital for orthopedic care. The hospital plans to use the EOS system for full body, weight-bearing 2-D and 3-D scans to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions.
The EOS imaging system is designed to scan patients in both standing and sitting positions while using nine times less radiation than typical X-rays and 20 times less than CT scans.
