Wright Medical Group has entered into a supply and distribution agreement with ArthroCare to distribute devices associated with soft tissue fixation of the foot and ankle, according to a Wright Medical news release.
Under the agreement, Wright Medical will exclusively distribute ArthroCare's line of tissue fixation devices based on the ArthroCare Opus knotless suture fixation technology. The technology allows surgeons to affix tendons and ligaments to bony structures without tying knots.
The technology is currently used during rotator cuff repairs.
