Raleigh, N.C.-based Pioneer Surgical Technology has launched the nanOss Bioactive Loaded, a pre-filled mixing syringe for use during minimally invasive orthopedic and spine procedures, according to a company news release.
The syringe contains Bioactive, a resorbable, porous calcium phosphate bone void filler indicated for use as a bone graft substitute. It is an osteoconductive implant with multidimensional porosity, and is designed to act as a scaffold for the in-growth of new bone.
