ulrich medical released the uCentum Comprehensive Posterior System for open and minimally invasive spine surgery.
The device is intended to provide immobilization and stabilization of spinal segments as an adjunct to fusion of the thoracic, lumbar and sacral spine. The uCentum pedicle screw includes a simple low profile tulip-head, top loading, cannulated, fenestrated and optimized thread design to address the increased purchase requirements of poor bone quality.
The screws are available in a variety of lengths and sizes to match the patient's anatomy. The product was named uCentum to honor the company's 100 year anniversary.
