DePuy Synthes Mitek Sports Medicine, a division of DePuy International, has unveiled the RIGIDFIX Curve Cross Pin System and RIGIDLOOP Cortical Fixation System.
Here are three things to know about the systems:
1. The RIGIDFIX Curve System enables precise placement of two cross pins in the femoral tunnel. It is designed for use with the anteromedial portal approach to enable a more anatomic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.
2. The RIGIDLOOP system, when used with the INTRAFIX ACL Tibial Fastener System, provides surgeons with a total procedural solution for anatomic soft tissue ACL reconstructions.
3. The systems were unveiled at the 15th European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology congress in London, United Kingdom.
