Alphatec Spine recently announced fourth quarter revenue of $49.5 million, a 7.6 percent increase over the fourth quarter of last year.
The company reported a 2 percent revenue growth in the United States during the fourth quarter, while international revenue grew by 20.6 percent over the same period in 2010. During the fourth quarter, the company introduced three new products at the North American Spine Society annual meeting.
Over the next year, Dirk Kuyper, president of global commercial operations at Alphatec Spine, says the company will concentrate on reducing costs of goods sold and increasing efficiencies in the United States, reducing costs of good sold internationally and reducing SG&A expenses internationally.
The company reported 2011 full year revenue of $197.7 million, up from $171.6 million in 2010.
