Symmetry Medical, a Warsaw, Ind.-based orthopedic device company, recently closed on its acquisition of the surgical implants business Codman & Shurtleff, according to a Symmetry news release.
Codman & Shurtleff, a Johnson & Johnson company, will have its surgical instrumentation line integrated with Symmetry's current hospital direct business. The business line will be named Symmetry Surgical and is expected to produce more than $100 million in annual sales.
