Minnesota medical device company KSpine raised $2.5 million that will fund clinical trials for the company's spinal implant to treat scoliosis, according to a Medcity News report.
The KSpine implant involves fewer screws that traditional scoliosis treatments and only one rod. CEO Fred W. Kornahrens. Longhini, co-founder of Voyageur Medical, an early stage investor in medical device companies, said KSpine has raised $16 million since its start in 2008.
